Alfred John Wickett Stoker First Class (D/KX.104161)
My Uncle 'Jack', as he was more commonly known, was born on 11th September, 1917, in Lawhitton, Cornwall. Sadly, Jack lost his life Serving His King and Country on 9th April, 1942.
It is known that Jack won a number of medals during his short naval career, but what these were, has yet to be discovered from family members.
